The popular Stratford-upon-Avon attraction Shakespeare’s Schoolroom & Guildhall, has published its new group rates covering 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028, including group tours.

The 605-year-old building, built during the reign of Henry V, is the location where the young William Shakespeare was educated and inspired to become one of the world’s most famous playwrights.

Visitors can sit in the room where William Shakespeare sat as a pupil in the 1570s, and groups can experience a fun and engaging Tudor-style school lesson with Shakespeare’s last schoolmaster. Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall also featured as a popular fam visit at the CTA Conference 2025.

The interactive visitor experience will bring to life the many stories the Guildhall has to tell. Groups can visit the Council Chamber where Shakespeare’s father served as Bailiff (Mayor) and visitors can also experience the space where young William first witnessed performances by the country’s greatest actors of the day.

The building is fully accessible including a lift.
