Just to let you all know that Sue and Steve will be stepping down from their role as Member Services by the end of this year. We have very much enjoyed our time with CTA and met lots of wonderful friends and colleagues. We will miss the vibrant, fun networking events but looking forward to having more time for our other interests.

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Following the announcement from Steve and Sue Rooney, who will sadly be leaving the CTA by the end of the year, we are recruiting an Operations Director who will be responsible for a number of areas including the Operations of all events, acting as Secretariat for The Board, Finance, IT systems, and overseeing the work of other part-time contractors.
This is a part time role approx. 3-4 days a week but due to the nature of the Events Calendar, we will need some flexibility to manage the peaks and troughs of the workload. Preferred candidates will have an understanding of the workings of the CTA and had experience of working with a Board. Candidates must have a background in tourism and have some awareness of the coach and groups sector.
The role will start by September 2025 and the Association would prefer to employ an Operations Director on a self employed basis. Remuneration will be based on £ 60,000 per annum, pro rata.
