The CTA would like to thank Steve & Sue Rooney as they step down from the organisation after eight years’ service.
Steve & Sue have successfully headed CTA’s membership operations and communications management since 2017. Their final day with the CTA will be 19 December.
Overseeing management of CTA operations, including during the challenges of the pandemic, membership has grown, exciting and effective events have taken place, and new initiatives have been launched, including the We Love Coaches consumer-facing brand.
“On behalf of all CTA members, I’d like to extend our thanks and appreciation to Steve and Sue for their commitment to the Coach Tourism Association over the past years,” says CTA Chair, Robert Shaw. “They will be much missed, and we wish them all the best with their new projects. Meanwhile, we’re delighted to have Isabelle on the CTA team as Operations Director. Thanks again Steve and Sue.”
Sue and Steve added: “We will miss all the lovely people we have met at CTA over the past years but are looking forward to having more time to explore other projects”.
Among other things, Steve is starting training for the Manchester marathon (his first) and teaching chess in local schools, and Sue is training for her first half marathon and pursuing a number of art projects.
Isabelle Sanzelle Kanaan has been appointed CTA’s new Operations Director, and will work alongside Helen Bowron, with Alex Byles providing support.
Many thanks Steve and Sue – best wishes from all at the CTA!
