Jamesway Travel based in Rugby has announced that it will be operating its final tours, bringing to a close 35 years of service.

“After long consideration, it is with sadness and a heavy heart that we will be running our final holidays. Like many independent businesses in the leisure industry, we never fully recovered from the impact of Covid. With a shrinking customer base and increasing pressures on margins, we have decided to bow out gracefully. I will now be taking an active retirement,” said Jamesway Travel owner, James Pak.

Since its founding in 1991, Jamesway Travel has taken thousands of local people on holidays across the UK and Europe, building a reputation for personal service, memorable trips, and community support.

“I would like to thank all our customers for their loyalty over the years,” said James. “Hopefully, we’ve been able to give something back through happy holiday memories and by supporting local charities. I also want to thank Sarah and Ann for their excellent work, as well as Robinsons Coaches and their brilliant drivers.”

To mark the occasion, Jamesway Travel will be running a programme of Farewell Tours up to 30 March 2026, offering customers the chance to revisit favourite destinations and reconnect with fellow travellers.
