In 2026, Oxford’s Bodleian Library will stage daytime group tours in peak season for the first time.
The Bodleian Library is one of the oldest libraries in Europe and is a group of 23 libraries that serve the University of Oxford.
In 2026, group tours will continue in July and August, and the library has also increased group sizes to fit higher visitor demand. The library has new rates from the 1 April 2026, but bookings made before that date will be charged at the current 2024/2025 rates. The range of tours last from 30 minutes up to 90 minutes, and they can also be combined with a City of Oxford Walking Tour.
The library also has a new groups coordinator. Lucy is Tours and Groups Coordinator at the Bodleian Library and can be contacted on 01865 287400 or tours@bodleian.ox.ac.uk. Find out more at https://visit.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/.
