Visitors to the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery can celebrate the 50th anniversary of ABBA’s Eurovision win at Brighton Dome on 6 April 1974 with an exhibition commemorating the event and the iconic pop band.

Displayed through photographs, film, memories, and memorabilia, the Abba: One Week in Brighton exhibition, running from 28 March to 4 August, tells the story of that memorable Eurovision week.

ABBA’s eye-catching outfits ensured that people noticed them even before they stepped on stage. ‘Waterloo’, their winning song, became the band’s international breakthrough, despite the UK judges giving them ‘nul points’.
