VisitScotland Connect 2026, Scotland’s premier travel trade event, which took place on 14-15 April at Glasgow SEC, attracted 330 global buyers spanning 20 countries.
The event brought Scottish tourism businesses together with international and domestic buyers for two full days of in-person meeting. Representing 289 Scottish businesses including 68 attending for the first time, the event hosted over 10,000 scheduled meetings as well as 13 fam trips across Scotland.
The wider VisitScotland Connect experience began before the two days of meetings got underway and included the third annual Travel Distribution Seminar, welcoming more than 30 Scottish tourism experiences. The event offered practical insights into achieving sustainable growth within the travel distribution landscape.
Meanwhile, the fam trip programme spanned more than 22 regions, showcasing 170 businesses with themes including community and meaningful travel, culture and cuisine.
VisitScotland Connect will return in 2027 on 14 and 15 April at the SEC, supported by Visit Glasgow, and applications will open in September.
