Scotland’s Tay Country has created a four-day itinerary for coach tours journeying through some of Scotland’s most storied landscapes, from the coach-friendly heritage centres of Dunfermline and Perth, as well as the Fife estates, rural Angus, and Highland Perthshire.
Day one begins in Dunfermline and takes in the city’s Abbey and Cathedral, before heading to Ardross Farm and Teasses Estate, ending in Dundee.
Day Two starts at the city’s Verdant Works Museum, then to the rural Newton Farm, with arrival at Glamis Castle, the atmospheric home and fort, which took a central stage in Shakespeare’s Macbeth.
Another stately home, Blair Castle is the host of day three’s morning, with a leisurely afternoon in Dunkeld with the option of visiting the Black Linn Falls. Day four includes a trip to Scottish Crannog Centre, an openair museum that brings Scotland’s Iron Age vividly to life. Concluding the itinerary, the tour takes in Lurgan Farm, home to sheepdog demonstrations.
