Hever Castle has a number of special events lined up for next year including a new exhibition about Anne Boleyn. This is the first of a series of exhibitions detailing the life and times of Anne Boleyn and launches on 4 March 2022, 500 years to the day she made her debut at court in 1522.
The exhibition, which runs until November 2022, will explore the factors that moulded Anne’s character and also the rise and fall of the Boleyn family. Anne’s early life at Hever Castle will be charted along with her relationship with her family, her education at Hever, in the Netherlands and France.
From 9 February (weather dependent), the Snowdrop Walk will follow a trail of thousands of snowdrops starting to emerge from their winter hibernation – the first sign that spring is just around the corner. Visitors can also enjoy a stroll through the gardens and enjoy the early blossoms of camellia and quince.
Dazzling Daffodils is scheduled for 14 to 20 March and promises thousands of daffodils with free garden tours, while Tulip Celebrations runs from 19 to 24 April with a chance to see special varieties and new areas that have been planted.
Further events include: Spring Craft Fair: 12 to 15 May; Hever in Bloom: 20 to 26 June; Autumn Craft Fair: 8 to 11 September; and Autumn Colour from 1 October.
Group rates for 15 or more persons are available when the group arrives in the grounds together. The total must be paid in one amount and the entry price includes admission to special events, except where stated.
