Visit Flanders is highlighting a number of events and activities planned for 2022 in its latest update. While 2021 proved to be difficult hosting fam trips and educationals in Flanders, it is planning to host several niche visits to showcase new product in 2022. If you are interested in the themes shown below, please get in touch by emailing traveltrade@visitflanders.com

WW1

In March a trip to Flanders Fields will reacquaint operators with this region. With the prospect of new walking tour product being developed from late spring onwards, the trip will showcase new content alongside more well-known sites in this area, suited to both schools and holiday markets.

Gardens & Castles

In late Spring, Visit Flanders hopes to bring a few niche garden operators to Flanders to highlight Meise, the botanical garden near to Brussels alongside some stunning gardens and properties which may be lesser known to the UK market.

Cycling

2021 saw the introduction of nine new iconic cycle routes in Flanders, ideal for the leisure cyclist, so what better way to get to know this new product than on a site visit on two wheels.

Flanders Brussels Travel Forum

In 2021 the first virtual Flanders Travel Forum was held which was a great success and in October 2022 Visit Flanders will host operators back in Flanders to see first-hand lots of new product alongside attending a workshop for contractors and business development managers to meet with local suppliers. For those who could not make our virtual event this year or want to brush up on their knowledge of Flanders, it is still possible to review presentations and watch the four video tours on our themes here.
