The CTA’s industry-wide consumer survey, aimed at helping members gain a closer market understanding, will launch in early October. Full information on how to participate will be announced over the coming weeks.

The 9-minute survey aims to discover the buying intentions of UK coach tourism customers, and it will be split for coach operators and suppliers who can invite their customers to participate, requiring only a single e-mail to be sent to a customer database. Survey entrants will be included in a special draw with the opportunity to win a quality prize. The survey is free for CTA members to participate, and every participating member will receive a free report, benchmarking their own customers’ responses against all survey respondents. In further news, Tourism Media Group will be the new publisher of the CTA Member Handbook, taking on the role from Plum Publishing, run by Steve and Sue Rooney. The 2027 printed handbook is planned for distribution next April and will also feature a digital version that will be updated four times a year. The CTA would like to thank Steve and Sue Rooney for their successful management of the handbook over the past years. Members can also meet new CTA member TGM at CTA Winter Networking.

Finally, while CTA membership fees have been frozen for several years, there will be a small increase for 2027, reflecting the rise in operating costs and to ensure the continuation of a high quality of service to members. Renewal invoices will be distributed to members in October instead of the previous date of December.
