The Royal Collection Trust’s latest group update includes details of the reopening of The Royal Mews which is home to the royal collection of historic coaches, carriages and The Queen’s horses.
The Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace is open from 19 May – 2 October. One of the finest working stables in existence, it offers a unique opportunity to witness the road travel arrangements for Her Majesty The Queen and members of the Royal Family.
The annual Summer Opening of Buckingham Palace returns in 2022 from 22 July – 2 October with special photographs of The Queen, along with items of personal jewellery worn for the sittings, including The Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara.
And until 28 October, a special visit to The Queen’s Castle at Windsor is available for groups. During The Queen’s reign of 70 years on the throne, Windsor Castle has served as a constant in Her Majesty’s life, both as a stage for great events and a peaceful refuge. Groups will gain new insights into the Castle and how it continues to shape the pattern of The Queen’s Year.
A groups brochure has all the information you need to organise visits to the official residences in 2022.
