The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) is welcoming groups this year to experience a nostalgic journey through 24 miles of stunning Yorkshire scenery aboard its fleet of heritage steam and diesel locomotives.

The main railway season starts at the end of March and runs through the year until the end of October, when the NYMR is then open for selected dates in November and December.

Groups can be transported back in time to see 1930s-themed Pickering station, begin a countryside walk from Levisham, explore the operating and engineering world of the NYMR at Grosmont, or visit Goathland, the station that became Hogsmeade Station in the first Harry Potter film. At the end of the line is Whitby, with its bustling harbour and the striking ruins of Whitby Abbey.

Single and return journey options are available for travelling the full length of the line, or visitors can experience a shorter ride between our intermediate stations, making for a great addition to any travel itinerary in North Yorkshire.

Groups of 20 or more can enjoy fare discounts, free admission for the group leader, reserved seating, and assistance from the dedicated Customer Services Team. There are also catering options and wheelchair user access spaces on request.

Group bookings must pre-book by e-mailing grouptravel@nymr.co.uk. Visit nymr.co.uk/groups or call 01751 477700 for more information.
