Liverpool Football Club stadium tour and museum has launched a new tour, The Anfield Origins. This is an historical walking tour which takes in the external surroundings of the stadium learning about the hidden history and architecture surrounding the club from the late 19th century to the present day.

The Anfield Origins Tour is around the perimeter of Anfield Stadium lasting approximately 60 minutes and is the perfect offering for groups to experience both on its own, or combined with the LFC Stadium Tour at a discounted group rate.

Liverpool is currently taking smaller group reservations for the regular stadium tour, but is now able to accept larger groups on The Anfield Origins Tour as it is outside.

On The Anfield Origins Tour groups will walk in the footsteps of the club’s founding father, John Houlding, see where the first ever dressing room was located, and understand about some of the iconic figures that have helped to shape the club’s unique story. Groups will also discover the fascinating history of Stanley Park and find out about the world-famous pub where Liverpool Football Club was established as well as visit the illustrious Kop stand to view the famous Anfield pitch and have a chance to reminisce about the many wonderful games that have been played.

Tickets to all tours also include entry to the club’s interactive museum, The Liverpool FC Story, The Steven Gerrard Collection exhibition and all six European cups.

Groups can also now see the Premier League Trophy when booked onto a Stadium Tour, Anfield Origins Tour or visit to The Liverpool FC Story Museum.

The Premier League Trophy is a paid, ticketed exhibition to help LFC comply with social distancing and industry guidelines and so it can provide groups with a safe and enjoyable visit. To allow everyone within the group time with the trophy at a safe distance, all visits must be pre-booked and there will be time limitations with the trophy.
