The latest VisitAberdeenshire travel trade product update features Haddo House and Greyhope Bay – Dolphins at the Battery.
Haddo House is a striking mansion house set in 80 hectares of Aberdeenshire countryside. Home to the Gordon family for over 200 years, it regularly played host to royalty and dignitaries across the centuries and later was used as a maternity hospital during WWII.
As well as the story-rich house and impressive art collection, visitors can explore the terraced gardens and the expansive grounds, where there are plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife in the bird hides or on a woodland walk.
Private dining is also available year round on request. The library holds 80 people and the Canadian Hall can hold groups up to 160.

Greyhope Bay is located at the Torry Battery at the mouth of Aberdeen Harbour and with panoramic views over the city and coast. Dolphins at the Battery provides the opportunity to connect with native wildlife, including seabirds and charismatic bottlenose dolphins.
Aberdeen is one of the best places in Europe to spot dolphins and is one of the few places where they can be seen year-round! The centre sits on top of a historic monument with a glass fronted viewing platform, a café, outdoor trails and ample parking. We offer experiences for private groups where they will learn about the local history and wildlife, and have the chance to spot dolphins and seabirds in their natural environment. As each season brings something different to see, these experiences are available year-round.
