An Isle of Wight Experience Fam trip for CTA operators and wholesalers will take place on Fri 25 to Sun 27 March. It includes visits to a range of attractions that could form the basis of some great coach tours of the island.

The Fam is hosted by Hovertravel, IOW Tours and Alfa Leisureplex, with support from English Heritage, Island Coach Services, Needles Landmark Attraction, IOW Donkey Sanctuary and IOW Steam Railway.
The trip starts with a Hovertravel crossing at 1pm on Fri 25 March with paid parking available at Southsea. Those arriving by train can use the free Hoverbus to the Hover Terminal from Portsmouth or Southsea.
Visits are likely to include Glory Art Glass, Amazon World, Needles Landmark Attraction, IOW Pearl Factory, Mottistone Manor, IOW Donkey Sanctuary, IOW Butterfly World, Osborne House and IOW Steam Railway. The group will be staying at Leisureplex’s Shanklin Hotel and also visiting Bayshore Hotel, Sandown. On Sun 27 March, the group will return on the 16.30 Hovercraft from Ryde to Southsea.
There is also an opportunity for a pre-visit to the Spinnaker Tower. This includes free entry to the Tower and free coffee in Clouds from 10am on Fri 25 March. This includes free parking for up to 2hrs for CTA guests in the Gunwharf Quays car park.
It’s a great opportunity to experience the Isle of Wight. Places are limited and there is a maximum of two per company. A booking fee of £30 plus VAT will secure your place.
