Cornwall’s Eden Project has once again joined the CTA, while the attraction also plans the opening of two further sites in Morecambe and Dundee.

Set on the land of a former clay mine, the Eden Project team transformed the crater into a series of gardens, include massive, covered Biomes. The iconic Rainforest Biome is one of the world’s largest indoor rainforests, while the Mediterranean Biome includes cacti, olive trees, fruits, and herbs.

The Eden Project is also home to extensive outdoor gardens, contemporary artworks, as well as performance and storytelling.

Now, planning to join the original Cornwall site, Eden Project Morecambe is scheduled to open in winter 2028. The attraction will be set in two areas based on the Sun and the Moon. The Realm of the Sun will be a bright landscape of the near future where humanity has rediscovered how to repair and re-engage with the broken rhythms of the natural world. However, the Realm of the Moon will feature a darker, more dramatic environment, featuring a rockpool where accelerated cycles of tides, days, and seasons create a constantly shifting world of storytelling, spectacle, and discovery.

In addition to Morecambe, Eden Project Scotland, set in Dundee, will draw on the city’s history and form part of the waterfront regeneration. The new site aims to transform the former gasworks into a centre for green tourism, encouraging visitors to think differently by learning from nature. The project will combine exhibits, performance, learning, play, immersive experiences, horticulture, live music, art, and food and drink, all integrated as essential parts of the overall experience.
