The Royal Yacht Britannia, docked in Leith near Edinburgh and once the vessel of the Royal Family, is offering group visits. The Royal Yacht Britannia has also recently joined the CTA.

The vessel was launched in 1953 for the British Royal Family, and for more than four decades, the Royal Yacht Britannia carried Queen Elizabeth II and the Royal Family on 968 state visits, welcoming world leaders, dignitaries, and celebrated personalities on board.

In port at Leith, near Edinburgh, since it was decommissioned in 1997, during a visit, groups can see the vessel’s five decks including the bridge, Queen Elizabeth II’s favourite room, the crew’s quarters, plus the engine room.

Pre-booked groups of 15 or more can receive a discount of 10%, and visits can also be supported by free audio guides, BSL/ASL tablets, and Braille scripts. Group visits can be booked by e-mailing groups@tryb.co.uk, and for more information, visit here.
