The Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London, is offering coach groups a variety of new packages for the upcoming festive period.

A series of Christmas carol concerts will take place in the chapel, regarded as one of the world’s finest neo-classical interiors. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served in the Queen Mary Undercroft, followed by a tour of the Painted Hall. Featuring 40,000 square feet of Baroque walls and ceilings, the Painted Hall is replete with striking images depicting 200 figures including kings, queens and mythological creatures. Entry rate for groups of 10+ is £42.50, available on 4, 11, 18, and 19 December 2023, with 2024 dates to be confirmed.

A Christmas lunch and tour of the Old Royal Naval College is also available. This includes entry to the Painted Hall, followed by Christmas lunch in the Old Brewery Pub onsite. Meanwhile, a new Chocolate House is coming to Greenwich from October 2023 until March 2024. The visit will include entry to Mrs Tosier’s Chocolate House, recreated from the era of Sir Christopher Wren. This will include a fascinating exhibition on the social circle surrounding the famous Greenwich Chocolate House, frequented by astronomers, architects and royalty, as well as a chance to sample some delicious hot chocolate.
