Waddesdon House & Gardens, Buckinghamshire, has announced details of its 2023 Christmas events.

Waddesdon manor and grounds will transform into a wonderland inspired by classic British tales. Inside the house, groups can explore the Mad Hatters tea party, travel to the Ice Queen’s lair, and discover Captain Hook’s treasure cave. Outside, the manor’s façade will come to life with bespoke projections, and the landscape will be lit with a kaleidoscope of colour, lights, and music along a light trail through the grounds.

Christmas at Waddesdon runs 12pm-7pm, 22 Nov – 1 Jan, and group rates apply to 15 or more people for off-peak visits, at £32 per adult to visit the house and grounds.

In the grounds (a grounds only adult ticket is £20), Waddesdon is also hosting a Christmas fair, a shopping experience set against the backdrop of the floodlit North Front of the Manor with its 20ft Christmas trees. Waddesdon says the fair will present the sights, smells and sounds of Christmas with hand-selected stalls all housed in charming wooden chalets, surrounded by twinkling trees. The fair runs from 22 Nov – 17 Dec.

Waddesdon also recommends shuttle bus tickets if your group plans on moving around on site. Waddesdon’s group bookings team can be contacted via groups@waddesdon.org.uk  and 01296 653285.
