This year the Bodleian Libraries is relaunching its groups offer and is working with attractions and hotels across Oxford to create a memorable experience.
The Bodleian Libraries, or ‘the Bod’ as it is affectionately known by the students who study in the space, is the academic heart of Oxford and the central University library, dating back to the 15th century.
The Bod has shaped some of the brightest minds for 600 years and is home to iconic spaces including the Divinity School, which is the oldest purpose-built teaching room in Oxford, the medieval Duke Humfrey’s Library, and Radcliffe Camera.
It’s a privilege to be able to give visitors a peek behind the scenes, and our experienced and knowledgeable tour guides will share the stories of the library and the city of dreaming spires.
Group tours can also include the official University of Oxford tour in partnership with the Oxford Guild of Tour Guides and Christ Church; the City of Oxford walking tour in partnership with the Oxford Guild of Tour Guides; as well as Guided library tours of the Bodleian Libraries.
