Waddesdon Manor, Aylesbury reopens from 20 March, and with a host of events for Spring and Summer, the house kicks off with an exciting new exhibition for art lovers.

Over 350 years since they were created, five paintings by the renowned Baroque painter Guercino are displayed together for the first time in this new exhibition, Guercino at Waddesdon, which is included in the standard ticket price.

Reunited after leaving the artist’s studio in 1651 are Waddesdon’s King David alongside two associated paintings of sibyls (Greek oracles) from the National Gallery and another sibyl from the Royal Collection, painted the same year. The exhibition is on until 27 October.

Groups can also enjoy a guided tour of the four-acre walled garden at Eythrope. This can be combined with afternoon tea in the Manor Restaurant, followed by exploring Waddesdon’s grounds.
