Tourism Ireland is presenting a four-day tour of Northern Ireland, specially selected for Autumn, including historic cities and buildings along with countryside and coastline.
The tour begins in Belfast, including the Titanic attraction and the Victorian-era St George’s Market with its Taste & Tours food experience. Autumn is also the time of the Belfast International Arts Festival, including theatre, music, and literature, across 30 venues in the city. For evenings’ entertainment, the guide lists some of Belfast’s best pubs, while groups can also enjoy The Observatory bar at Grand Central Hotel, the twenty-third-floor rooftop bar, the highest on the island of Ireland.
Day two heads to The Causeway Coastal Route, and while the online guide suggests the trip is ideal for car drivers, the 190km route also makes for a spectacular coach journey, including highlights such as the Causeway Cliffs, Carrickfergus Castle, and the Giant’s Causeway itself.
The third day takes in Derry~Londonderry, the setting for the CTA Annual Workshop 2026. Groups can enjoy a variety of walking tours, including a tour of the Bogside and the city’s famous walls.
Day four includes Counties Tyrone & Armagh, and while the itinerary includes activities for fully independent travellers, the suggested tour also includes group-friendly attractions such as the Ulster American Folk Park, telling the story of Ulster people’s emigration to North America in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
Meanwhile, County Armagh, known as The Orchard County for its many picturesque apple orchards, includes attractions such as Longmeadow Cider, offering farm tours and tastings of craft cider and apple pie.
