A new entertainment destination is opening at Manchester City Football Club’s Etihad Campus later this year. Medlock Square will include an expansion to the stadium, as well as providing a new museum, store, and covered area.
At the heart of Medlock Square is the Etihad Stadium North Stand expansion, a major development that will increase the stadium’s capacity following the introduction of 7,000 new seats.
Meanwhile, a new Museum Experience will celebrate the team’s past and present in exciting new ways, bringing fans closer to the moments that define the club’s history. Alongside, a new City Store will give fans a further opportunity to explore the latest kits and products.
A covered activation space with capacity for up to 3,000 people will also create a dedicated hub for matchdays and Club events throughout the year. Visitors will benefit from a wide range of food and drink options across Medlock Square, from quick coffee stops and casual dining to premium experiences.
The newly launched Medlock Hotel will also provide the opportunity to stay right at the heart of the Campus, including rooms overlooking the pitch.
A roof walk experience, alongside abseiling and zipwires, will also offer adventurous visitors the chance to step onto the top of the stadium itself, delivering views across Manchester.
