Birmingham City Council is calling for input from coach operators and coach-friendly attractions on the city’s coach access and parking.
The council is requesting operators and attractions that welcome coach groups to complete an online survey on travel routes, drop off and pick up points, and other coach facilities. The survey responses will help Birmingham City Council understand where improvements are needed.
“We want to better understand what is working well and what the current challenges are with coaches travelling to, moving around, or stopping in Birmingham,” says Ben Hau, Birmingham City Council, who attended the recent CTA Annual Workshop. “Coaches play an important role in supporting tourism, business travel, events, and the wider visitor economy. We want to make sure Birmingham stays an attractive and efficient destination for coaches and the people who use them.”
