Zedwell, managed by Criterion Hospitality, has launched Zedwell Capsule Hotel Piccadilly Circus, said to be the largest capsule hotel in the world, offering group rates of £25 per person per night.
Sitting directly above Piccadilly Circus Underground Station, the hotel includes nearly 1000 individual sleep capsules spanning five floors. Zedwell says that a capsule hotel offers guests a small, self-contained sleeping pod with just enough room for a bed and essential features, designed for privacy, quiet, and efficiency.
Each natural oak capsule provides a private pod with a single Hypnos mattress, Egyptian cotton bedding, individual ventilation, smart climate control, noise reduction, and ambient lighting for optimal rest.
Guests have access to shared amenities including lounges and co-working spaces, secure storage for larger bags, and communal bathrooms.
Dormitories range in size from 8 to 100 capsules, with female only options also available, and the hotel caters to groups as well as fully independent travellers.
The hotel is located in the reimagined London Pavilion and close to London’s West End, Soho, Chinatown, and Covent Garden.
Zedwell’s room-only rates at its wider London hotels including Piccadilly Circus, Underground TCR, and Greenwich, range from £35 to £75 per night, with prices secured from now and throughout 2026. Find out more at www.zedwellhotels.com.
Zedwell also has a further five hotels opening later this year and across 2026 in London and Manchester, plus a further eight scheduled to open in 2027, including York and Edinburgh.
Under the same umbrella, Criterion Hospitality, which aims to provide a premium hotel experience, has six hotels in London, with room-only rates starting from £65 up to £135 across 2026. A further 15 hotels are also under construction.
