The American Museum & Gardens in Bath has become a new member of the CTA. The attraction hosts American art, design, and heritage, as well as an extensive outdoor landscape, plus a deli café.
The Georgian estate on the Bath skyline is home to American stories, decorative arts, folk art and textiles. From indigenous peoples to the early settlers and beyond, displays are presented in authentic period rooms, with collections that are described as some of the most significant in Europe.
A current exhibition on until 22 June explores the power, beauty and history of Renaissance maps, with a fascinating new look on the myths and memories that created them. Then, from 5 July, at the Beyond Infinity American Space Exploration exhibition, visitors can discover the wonders of space travel and find out where NASA is going next.
The site also includes acres of gardens with Cotswold valley views and unique planting designs. For dining, groups can also enjoy the deli café with a panoramic valley terrace.
The attraction provides a group discount, suggested itineraries, and a range of tours available to book. Free entry for the group organiser/coach driver is available, and the coach driver also receives a free drink and 20% off in the café.
