The Port of Leith Distillery is an important landmark in Edinburgh’s historic whisky district of Leith as the UK’s first vertical whisky distillery.

Thought to be unique worldwide, the distillery is intended to reflect the company’s ambition to bring a pioneering approach to producing Scotland’s national drink.

During a visit, groups can explore the architecture of the building, and learn how the design contributes to whisky production. Guests can fill their own miniature bottle of spirit, taste an extensive selection of samples, and discover the story of two whisky fans from Edinburgh who went on to operate the world’s tallest distillery.
