Paris intends to restrict coach access within the centre of the city as part of its pedestrian-first policy, ‘Paris piéton’ and its clear-air policy, ‘Paris respire’.

According to ETOA (European Tourism Association), The Right Bank – running 4km from Place de la Concorde to Canal Saint-Martin and 1.5km from the Seine to the Grands Boulevards – will be a no-go area for all coaches with some exceptions, including electric vehicles for up to 15 passengers; people with reduced physical mobility (referred to as PMR in France); school groups; vehicles with a confirmed booking at the Louvre coach park within the zone. Coach access for groups with luggage will not be permitted.

A webinar on 12 September 2024 at 3pm will explain more – https://www.etoa.org/
