The North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR) has announced its new Santa Express services this festive season, taking guests on a return route between Pickering and Levisham on an hour-long journey.

Pickering Station will be home to a host of festive activities, including live music and a Christmas emporium with seasonal gifts. Once onboard, Santa and his elves will provide entertainment with gifts delivered to all children (ages 15 and below).

The theme for Santa Express 2026 is The Gingerbread Man, and NYMR is working with Wise Owl Theatre Company to bring the enchanting festive experience to life.

Groups (20 max) receive a 10% discount on base fares, providing per person rates of £26.55 (28 & 29 November), £31.05 (5, 6, 12, and 13 December) and £35.55 (19, 20, 22, 23, 24 December).
