Seism!c, a new sound and light installation, has been added to Derbyshire’s Heights of Abraham, known for its scenic cable car journeys.
The new experience is included in a guided tour through the Great Masson Cavern, which has been enhanced by state-of-the-art projectors. The installation tells the story of key moments in Earth’s history, along with the formation of the Masson Cavern.
In nearby Great Rutland Cavern, groups can step back in time with a Victorian guide as they take you underground for an authentic experience. Hear tales of miners past, mischievous spirits and stories of the underground world and find out why the caverns were so popular with tourists from the Victorian era.
Tours through the caverns take place continuously throughout the day and are included in the cable car ticket price at the Heights of Abraham, which is open daily from 28 March to 2 November.
Coach groups can find out more here.
