The Liverpool Beatles Museum has unveiled a new exhibit, offering fans a glimpse into two pivotal moments in the Fab Four’s journey to stardom. The exhibit features backstage furniture from Hulme Hall in Birkenhead, a venue steeped in Beatles history.
The new exhibits are linked to The Beatles’ milestones including Ringo Starr’s first performance with the band on August 18, 1962, and The Beatles’ First Radio Interview, conducted on October 27, 1962.
The unveiling event was graced by Liverpool radio presenter Billy Butler, who shared his personal memories of the band’s early days. Billy provided fascinating insights into the new exhibit, the people involved, and why this discovery remains so significant.
The furniture in the exhibit was uncovered during a recent renovation of Hulme Hall. While unassuming, these pieces are rich with history, having been present for two transformative moments in the Beatles’ rise to fame.
The Liverpool Beatles Museum continues to honour the legacy of the Fab Four with exhibits that bring their incredible journey to life. The new display is now open for visitors.
