Aberdeenshire Council is providing a list of maps to support coach tour operators visiting the seaside town of Stonehaven.
The maps show suitable locations for coaches to park for a short duration. The guides have been created to support coach tours and improve traffic flow and town centre parking.
A drop off/pick up point is available in Market Square, with coach parking available at Robert Street, Forest Drive, and Mackie Academy (during weekends and school holiday periods only). Drivers are advised that if the coach bays are already full, they should proceed to the next parking site.
Aberdeenshire Council says coach visits are hugely welcome as they support businesses and the local economy all-year round and ensure that Stonehaven remains a must-see destination for both UK and international tourists.
As visits by coaches have significantly increased, the council intends the new parking maps to assist operators and improve traffic flow and access around the town.
