Ledard Farm in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park has joined the CTA, offering traditional Scottish food, music, and history.

Set on the 300-acre Ledard working sheep farm on the shores of Loch Ard near Aberfoyle, Great Times Scotland presents activities such as sheep dog demonstrations, clay pigeon shooting, and traditional music.

Coach groups are presented with special packages including Lunch or Dinner with Rob Roy. Great Times Scotland offers a three-course traditional Scottish meal for groups between 20 and 50, with entertainment including traditional music, songs and stories provided by the Wood family.

Coach groups arrive to the sounds of bagpipes and are hosted by Fergus and Gregor Wood, while dining and entertainment takes place within the historic MacGregor’s Barn. Dating back to 1604, the location has close connections to Scottish folk hero Rob Roy MacGregor as well as the novelist Sir Walter Scott. The experience lasts for approximately 2.5 hours.

An Afternoon Tea with Rob Roy experience is also available, meeting some of the farm’s sheep and listening to story of Scottish wool and hill farming with a tour of the farm. Guests then head into MacGregors Barn for finger sandwiches, homemade scones, pancakes, pastries, and miniature cakes, with a selection of jams, butter and clotted cream, plus tea and coffee. This experience last for approximately 1.5 hours.
