CTA member Anu Desai from ITO Tours has sent the following message to CTA coach operator members:
“Since I sent out my email to all of our group bookers saying ITO Tours UK were open during these challenging times, I wanted just to let you know how things are going.
“We have been fortunate that our two emails a week and our day-to-day calls to group organisers, have been very successful and it has been lovely to get lots of positive comments from our group bookers and travel trade for the content of the emails.
“We have received group bookings for trips departing from October to December and these are 48+ passengers on each coach, so please believe there is much to look forward to for us all.
“The trips booked are Christmas market weekends; this in turn means I have been pleased to place work with my usual coach companies who seem happy to get the call and the work. Ultimately it also has helped me that they have been very fair in pricing and that has meant, that ITO, the hotel, the coach company have enabled a group to book a trip for this year and that at a time when people seem to be cancelling trips!
“The group bookers have all paid deposits for the trips, so that must show the clients have faith in us, as well as the positive view that they want to travel as soon as they can, and that is back on coach holidays.
“Soon I will be opening up my January to March offers for groups travelling around the UK for their weekends away in that time.
