The gardens and outdoor spaces at Hampton Court Palace and Hillsborough Castle have now been re-opened by Historic Royal Palaces.
In order to open spaces safely, it has had to reduce the number of people it can welcome at any one time, so everyone (including our members and supporters) will need to book in advance. Currently, the reduced capacity will not allow groups, or travel trade partners to start reselling our tickets at this stage.
HRP says: “As we move to increase capacity and open the indoor spaces, when guidance permits, all groups and travel trade bookings will need to be made in advance online according to availability. We do not envisage visits for travel trade partners being possible before September but hope to open the B2B portal prior to this. We will keep you posted when this is possible.
“As a result of the measures we have put in place to keep our staff and visitors safe, visits will be different from normal. To give you an idea of what our visitors should expect, we’ve created this short video to give some reassurance about the measures we’ve put in place, plus more details on our website.”
“In the meantime, if you personally would like to visit you can book tickets now. Just visit hrp.org.uk where you will be asked to select an entry time slot. There is no restriction on the duration of your visit. Unfortunately, if you do not have a ticket when you visit, you will not be allowed entry. We will be continually monitoring the situation and new time-slots will be released every weekly.”
