This Christmas, groups are welcomed to Harewood House, the eighteenth century country house and grounds in West Yorkshire, to step into a magical festive world of Mischief at the Mansion where history and imagination intertwine.

As part of a magical makeover by the internationally celebrated artists, Studio McGuire, the display will reveal Harewood’s history and mysteries with lighting projection, storytelling, and music, to bring unforgettable cheeky characters, objects, and artworks to life.

Displays will show mischief afoot with decorative angels coming to life, escaping from the Music Room’s Christmas tree and popping up unexpectedly throughout the House. Cakes in the Servants’ Hall banter gleefully about their beauty pageant bake-off, and Queen Victoria’s bust reminisces about her time at Harewood.

Mischief at the Mansion will take place from Friday 15 November 2024 – Sunday 5 January 2025, with entry from 10am – 5.30pm.

Groups not only receive a substantial discount on admission, but also enjoy complimentary entry for drivers and organisers, a coach driver voucher, free parking, and the opportunity to book a private dining space.

Harewood House is also offering groups a sneak peek into the main season exhibition for next year, Introducing JMW Turner and Jane Austen, taking place between Friday 23 May – Sunday 14 September 2025.

Marking the 250th anniversary of their births, Harewood House will present an extraordinary exhibition that brings together the work of landscape painter JMW Turner (1775-1851) and novelist Jane Austen (1775-1817). This groundbreaking exhibition illuminates the work of these legendary artistic figures whose work was defined in relation to English country houses and landscapes at a time of great social change.

To celebrate, Harewood House is offering groups an exclusive Early Bird Rate of £13.50 until July 5th.
