Old Royal Naval College has announced that coaches can now be driven on to its site for the first time. Up to two coaches per day will be allowed on to the Old Royal Naval College campus with the group able to disembark on the site’s main avenue. Coaches must be pre-booked.

There are options for both full days in Greenwich, and for short stays as part of a tour or day trip.

Groups and coach operators spending a day in Greenwich will be able to book a slot and drive coaches on to the site for 30 minutes at the start and end of the day to allow groups to arrive and depart Greenwich safely. Once off the coach, the group will be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of Greenwich including the magnificent Painted Hall, Chapel of St Peter and St Paul and Visitor Centre before getting back onto the coach to head home.

Tour and day trip operators are also able to book a time in advance and park coaches for up to 90 minutes. This will give a group the chance to explore the site’s many treasures on their own or as part of a guided tour, and to grab some treats from the Painted Hall Café before heading to the next stop.
