The Confederation of Passenger Transport’s Zero Emission Coach Taskforce is calling for coach operators to help shape the future of zero carbon travel.

The Taskforce (ZECT) has produced a survey in collaboration with the Department for Transport which will help shape a study that answers the crucial question ”What do the zero emission coaches of the future need to deliver?”.

The survey aims to;

•Provide a specification for a zero emission coach

•Collate robust coach data to help in the Taskforce’s messaging and discussions with Government

•To provide an insight into the industry so that government ministers can better understand the sector and can make recommendations for future supportive measures

In September 2022, ZECT started phase two of its work which looks to identify potential solutions, collaborations and to make recommendations that will help the sector decarbonise.
