Coach operators are encouraged to participate in a major survey to coordinate data that will help prove the invaluable role that coaches play in the UK, and help to convince government to provide sector-specific support.

The survey can be found here. It takes about 30 minutes to complete and operators will need details of vehicle and passenger numbers for 2019 and 2020. Collating passenger data retrospectively is not an easy task and the organising team have requested that if necessary, you provide best estimates if actual numbers are not available.

The survey is intended to supplement previous submissions to the government which focused on the financial aspect. By comparison, this exercise seeks to highlight the valuable and essential work that the coach sector undertakes and ascertain the devastating impact on social groups and communities if the coaching sector is unable to thrive.

The survey is intended to reach as many coach operators as possible and therefore for the link to be shared amongst a range of social media outlets in order to obtain the widest audience and largest possible data set.

Deadline for completion of the survey is 5pm on Monday 23 November 2020.
