Forth Boat Tours, a family owned business and Edinburgh boating attraction, has added a new vessel, Queensferry Belle, to its fleet. Purchased from Sark in late 2021, she has undergone a significant refit with a new interior, saloon viewing roof and other additions. She joins her sister, the Forth Belle, and Forth Boat Tours heritage vessel, the Forth Princess, Scotland’s Dunkirk veteran.
The Queensferry Belle will be sailing on Forth Boat Tours’ award-winning cruises of the Firth of Forth UNESCO World Heritage site, including the Blackness Castle, Three Bridges Cruise (including a complimentary cream tea). Forth Boat Tours also works in partnership with some of Scotland’s top visitor attractions to offer joint tickets. The Queensferry Belle will also be tendering to the many cruise liners that call at the Firth of Forth each season.
Alastair Baird, sales & marketing manager, Forth Boat Tours says: “The addition of the Queensferry Belle represents a significant investment by Forth Boat Tours. We saw a very good 2021 season both in terms of visitor numbers and travel trade and despite the cost of living crisis, it also shows our confidence that visitor numbers will continue to grow.
“Edinburgh has always been a fantastic short break destination and inbound operators and others will continue to market Edinburgh to their customers. We are now in a better position to take advantage of this.”
