Tourism Ireland, on behalf of the Lisburn and Castlereagh Council is inviting operators to attend a Westminster Business Showcase on Wednesday 21 September 2022
The aim of the event is to shine a major focus on tourism and hospitality that plans to:
- Showcase the Royal Hillsborough product to new markets;
- Create commercial opportunities for local companies to expand/export;
- Support local tourism and hospitality businesses on an international stage;
- Extend the Rural Tourism Collaboration Experiential programme brand into new markets, i.e. suggested itineraries/ packaging;
- Create networking opportunities for key business to be conducted
The event will provide a platform for business to meet council officers and MPs in the salubrious setting of Westminster, London from 12.30pm – 2.30pm. The Rt Hon Sir Jeffrey Donaldson MP will be working with the council to host this prestigious event.
With the new ‘Royal’ status bestowed upon Hillsborough village in October 2021 this should help attract even more visitors to the area, and to Northern Ireland as a whole.
