Following the success of the CTA Annual Conference that took place in Derry~Londonderry earlier this year, Visit Derry has joined the CTA, recognising the value of the organisation in welcoming coach tour operators.

Derry~Londonderry has a wealth of attractions in the city, covering recent history and back to the medieval era, alongside an array of cultural entertainment. With a range of accommodation options targeting coach groups, Derry~Londonderry is also an ideal base to explore the wider area, including Donegal plus the Wild Atlantic Way and the Causeway Coastal Route.

Noted attractions include the 400-year-old city walls which can be toured as the only walled city remaining in Ireland. The CTA Annual Workshop event also visited the Museum of Free Derry, which tells the people’s story of the struggle for civil rights in the recent era. Near Derry~Londonderry, Wild Ireland is set in an ancient Celtic rainforest and presents a unique wildlife sanctuary, home to bears and wolves among other animals.
