CTA member Worldwide Attractions, the business-to-business travel sales representation company, staged a successful fam trip to Rotterdam in December, hosting15 attendees including the CTA.

The three and four day fam trips were presented in conjunction with three CTA supplier members, including P&O Ferries, Royal Spido and Euromast, to demonstrate how rewarding Rotterdam is as a destination, and how easy staging a tour to the Dutch city can be.

Following a convenient crossing from Hull with P&O, in Rotterdam operators experienced first-hand the city’s standout group-friendly attractions. A Royal Spido harbour cruise offered a unique perspective on Europe’s largest port, delivering an engaging and informative experience that works perfectly for both adult and special interest groups.

The visit to the Euromast tower and restaurant with its amazing views over the city and harbour was a highlight. Operators on the fam noted Euromast’s easy coach access and flexible group catering options, making the tower a must-include attraction for any Rotterdam programme.

Feedback from the fam was very positive, showing Rotterdam’s appeal as a modern, compact, and coach-friendly city, ideal for short breaks, themed tours, and inclusion on wider Benelux itineraries.
