Isabelle Sanzelle Kanaan has been appointed as CTA’s new Operations Director and will start in the role on 17 September. Her appointment follows the announcement that Sue and Steve Rooney are stepping down from the CTA member services role by the end of the year.

After graduating with a degree in economics from Loughborough University, Isabelle’s first job was in the coach travel industry, working as a Tour Director for Cosmos Globus on European Grand Tours. Later working at Thomas Cook and Kerry Group, Isabelle joined the international communications agency Sopexa, promoting French food and wine in the UK.

In 2009, Isabelle was appointed Executive Director of Maison de l’Occitanie, the UK trade office for the southern French region of Occitanie, promoting the region’s tourism, food, wine, and trade links with the UK.

Members will get a chance to meet Isabelle at the CTA Winter Networking event in November.
