The UK debut of Brickwrecks: Sunken Ships in Lego Bricks at The Historic Dockyard Chatham has been extended until 16 November 2025. The exhibition invites visitors to discover the dramatic stories of eight iconic shipwrecks through large-scale Lego models.

Featuring models up to three metres long, Brickwrecks showcases legendary vessels such as Uluburun, the world’s oldest known shipwreck, dating to 1300 BC, through to recent wrecks including Titanic, lost in 1912.

Brickwrecks includes interactive zones where visitors can try out archaeological techniques, explore the science of underwater discovery, and build your own Lego creations.

Also at Chatham, the Kipwrecks stayover experience offers groups the chance to stay overnight at the Historic Dockyard, surrounded by the stories and models of Brickwrecks. This experience is available to schools, youth groups, and other organised parties looking to combine history and adventure.

The group will enjoy exclusive access to the exhibition after hours, followed by a night in one of the Dockyard’s historic spaces. The experience includes a guided trail, Lego-themed activities, and the chance to explore the stories behind some of the world’s most legendary shipwrecks.
