The Heights of Abraham in Matlock Bath, Derbyshire has won a Gold accolade for excellence by VisitEngland in recognition of an outstanding visitor experience. The attraction is a country park set in 60 acres of woodland, reached by cable car over a deep limestone gorge in the Peak District.

VisitEngland accolades were recently awarded to winning attractions at a ceremony in Warwickshire.

Reopening on 22 November after an end of season close, the estate will be transformed into an enchanting wonderland with the “Lights of Abraham”, a winter lights trail that runs every day until December 30, excluding 24-26 December.
