Mersey Ferries has launched its 2025 Cruise Programme, featuring cruises for groups ranging from a 50-minute sightseeing tour, to a half- or full-day cruise.

Starting with River Explorer Cruises, these 50-minute trips are a great way for visitors to the city to view the skyline and landmarks from the deck of the Mersey Ferry, along with a recorded commentary of Liverpool’s maritime history. The group rate for 20-plus passengers is £10.25, and for groups of 31 or more, a free coach driver or guide ticket is available.

For a longer trip, a three-hour cruise of Liverpool Bay offers magnificent views of the Merseyside, Lancashire, and North Wales coastline. These cruises operate on selected dates June to August and the group rate for 20-plus passengers is £24 per person.

Also included on the Mersey Cruise Programme for 2025 is The Manchester Ship Canal cruise, a six-hour trip from either Seacombe, Wirral, or Pier Head, Liverpool, sailing to Warrington and then returning. A Blue Badge guide will give an informative commentary along the way, pointing out landmarks, wildlife, and telling the tale of the canal’s fascinating construction. Manchester Ship Canal cruises operate on selected dates from May to September and the group rate for 20-plus passengers is £42 per person.
