Discover Durham has announced a variety of updates for the travel trade, including a new opening at the heritage steam museum Locomotion, plus Luxmuralis at Durham Cathedral.

At Locomotion, New Hall has opened to the public, displaying an additional 47 heritage vehicles and engines. Locomotion now becomes home to 99 rail vehicles, creating the largest undercover display of historic rail vehicles in Europe.

Meanwhile, at Durham Cathedral, groups can journey through outer space and emerging galaxies this autumn as Luxmuralis returns from 9 – 13 October. The event brings space to life with an immersive light and sound experience.
