Strawberry Field is a one of a kind, an authentic experience at the site that captured the heart of John Lennon as a boy and inspired the legendary Beatles song. It prides itself as one of the most genuine and accessible attractions in the UK and offers visitors the chance to see the original iconic red gates in the historic gardens that John played in as a boy. It is home to one of the most treasured pianos in the world, on which he wrote and composed the global peace anthem Imagine, and boasts a spectacular multimedia exhibition.

With a trip to Strawberry Field, visitors have the opportunity to actively give back to the local community and continue John’s legacy, as all profits go towards funding the Steps at Strawberry Field programmes for young adults with learning difficulties or other barriers, helping them to gain access to employment skills, work experience and paid jobs.

Strawberry Field is striving to be the most accessible attraction in the UK, with an entirely wheelchair friendly site, tactile routes, captioning, a Changing Places toilet, bookable pre-arranged guided tours for the visually impaired, specially trained staff and many other features.

The perfect addition to any group visit to Liverpool, Strawberry Field is located conveniently on either the way in, or out of Liverpool City centre, with coach parking nearby, plus free admission and hot beverage for drivers, group leaders and carers.

The Imagine More Cafe offers fresh, seasonal and locally sourced delights and guests can stock up on unique, locally designed cards and gifts at our shop.
